Blocked Nose issue
Hi all
I wonder if you have encountered similar issues or can provide some advice. Our Loki who is now just over 5.5 months has a terrible habit of sneezing up big bogeys. From what I can see it seems to be a side effect of her sticking her nose in her food whilst eating as the top of her nose is always covered in food. My guess is she is getting food lodged up her nose and later has to sneeze it out. We had het at the vet recently for a checkup and the vet mentioned that shes in full health and that it's nothing to worry about. It seems like a strange issue as our 2 other girls have never had this kind of problem. Has anyone else encountered similar issues or can provide some advice on how I can help prevent this as I don't like seeing her going into a sneezing frenzy trying to clear her nose and seeing bogeys all over the place.
Thanks in advance.

That is so weird! And quite unpleasant for everyone. We have had quite a lot of cat snot at our house - it seems our idiot kitten has a feather allergy. Can you believe that??? How embarrassing for a cat!
Could I suggest trying dry food for a while - hopefully if the kibbles are big enough she won't get them stuck up her nose???

glad its not just my boy that sticks his nose in his food - had clean one nostril out very very gently with warm water and cotton bud as he doesnt seem to be able to sneeze it out - not pleasant for either of us !!!

Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear I'm not alone with regards to this. I'll try just giving her dry food but as she's an eating machine it won't be easy. It's possible she might have an allergy so I'll keep an eye on that to see if anything obvious
