MC with post natal depression?
This might seem an odd question, but has anyone had any experience of a cat with what can only be described as possible post natal depression? One of my maine coons lost her kittens due to complications and since returning from the vets a few weeks ago without any babies with her she seems quite odd. At first she seemed to look around the house calling for them, but after she had stopped doing this she seemed to just keep sleeping in her cage that we had put out for her to recover in. Now a few weeks have passed and she appears to be getting worse because she has lost her appetite and even though I try to tempt her with her favourites, she is not interested. Wanted some advice before I took her to the vets and they charged me for unecessary treatment if there was a simple answer.
Thankyou :sad2:
