The only thing better then 1 Maine Coon Cat is multiple Maine Coon Cats, I hope to someday soon to have a least 1 male and 1 female maybe more.
I'd like to have them at staggered ages because having 1 cat get old and sick is just heart breaking, having multiple cats old and sick at the same time would just be horrendous.
Before I got my coonies I was told by the person who had Maincoons of both genders that boys are very clownish and entertaining but the girls are smarter and more gracious, therefore I chose 2 girls, and they fit those characteristics perfectly.
I have also observed certain traits with respect to particular colors! Red boys are very laid back, while Tortie's have tortitude! I am not saying this is true in every case, but certainly been an observation of mine! I wonder what other people think?

I believe the best solution to the problem is to have at least 1 of each.
