I have never seen a cat do this before, my red MC, Merlin likes to eat with his paw, out of his paw. I took a video of it
the purring you hear in the back ground is Louie, he has the loudest purr and never stops, the vet has to pinch him, this makes him stop purring long enough a few seconds, just long enough to be able to hear his heart. You see a glimpse of Louie at the end of this video

Lot of MCC eat with their paws, that's one of the reason the Raccoon cross got started.

Kota and Blue eat with their hands (er, paws) too (and Blue is not MC)! They could cause so much more trouble if they had opposable thumbs!

Hector does not he prefers to use his paw to 'swat' daddy's helicopter out of the sky. You should hear the 'delicate' footsteps when it's turned on!! Roxy does normally when she is trying to share my takeaway she loves nan bread and I have the curry pawprint to prove it on a pair of jeans!!
Two of ours do. Our red boy Sunshine is the funniest though - he lounges on the floor and drags the bowl to him! He lies at the water bowl too!

Oh yes! Looks like almost the same video lol! Most of the time he flicks the kibble onto the floor but he does use his paw when he feels energetic:

He also drags the bowl towards him just like Sunshine!
LOL that's so cute, Merlin won't do this with wet food though, his paws are so furry that I think the wet would mat up his fur between his toes. I can't put a bowl of water down though he thinks it's his own personal swimming pool and splashes all the water out. I use a cat fountain for my boys.Quote:

Maine coon doesn't, but her mate Mr Mumble does and he will dip his paw into water and lick it too - so cute to watch!
Once he has had his fill, Arnold eats wet food with his paw which is very cute. When he can't possibly eat another bite he fishes bits out of the bowl and tries to play football with them. As cute as this also is, it's not happening! :pissed:
I love it! It's like Merlin couldn't be bothered to stand up to eat to start with! He's a gorgeous boy.
