Hi Karen, my tip would be, start doing it often now, even if you don't think she really needs it. Pick a time when she's all sleepy and floppy. Give her a toy to attack instead of the brush, so you gain a few minutes (or seconds!) of brushing time. Start being a bit firm and doing it for a bit longer than she is willing to tolerate. In this way you can gradually extend the brushing time. When you've decided to end the session, give her a treat.
