Which litter tray?!

Sorry for the boring post but i can't decide between the 2 trays - does anyone have any suggestions as to which would be better? Or does anyone have any experience of either of them? Or any suggestions welcome.

The second one is a bit posh....
Our original litter trays were like the first one although the pan part was a lot deeper,worked well at keeping smell contained but then one of our girls started peeing on the lid so had to remove it,now she has gone bless her we put lid back on one but our big brown boy had to have his head out of the front to stand a chance so have gone back to using as normal trays again but I think they are good .....

Hi - we have the first jumbo one and it is fine. It is very big, so be prepared to make space for it! Sadly I couldn't find any litter tray liners to fit, I used to use the Bob Martin one's in the first smaller tray we had. One day I found the Pampers dry-nite sheets I had for the girl's when they were small and these fit perfectly!

Can't help I'm afraid, neither of our trays are covered ones. Quite liked the look of the Booda igloo when I first ditched my shoes-and-bag-shopping-fetish for litter trays and cat trees; but I was never convinced that a fully grown MC would fit in it! I'd be interested to see how you get on if you give it a go though! Happy hunting... :LOL:

A subject dear to all cat slaves... the lavatory! My guess is a grown boy/big girl wouldn't fit in the rather posh igloo, Quiff can't fit in our covered ones (like the first one) either and stands with his feet on the outside, he now has an open tray, so he can make a fabulous mess every day!

I'd get the one that feels the strongest and is the simplest to use, we had one that had to have its clips possitioned exactly right, if not it would fall apart, with the obvious results.

Nothing posh for our kitties. One MC and 3 moggies share one BIG open-top and deep litter box.
