Hi my kitten will be lying purring and cuddling my wife 1 Sec then in a flash he sits up and bites her and hits her with his paws, every morning at around 6 A.M. Then he proceeds to have a mad half to one and a half hour any suggestions how to deal with this behaviour ??:stressed::sad1:
My tactics with Rasputin are:
1) Tell him no and firmly (but calmly) pick him up and place him away from the scene of the crime.
2) If he does it again he gets told no then evicted from the room and shut out (and ignored) for a period of time until he calms down, normally about 15 minutes.
3) Spray bottle, it doesn't seem to scare him but he doesn't like it one bit.
He's still a little monster at times but I've found this seems to work in general...
Hi Pralinehalo. Tried your suggestions and the one that seems to work best on Jethro is the spray he's left the wife alone for a couple of nights after she sprayed him and said NO!
