Age/weight chart?
Is there any kind of Age/Weight chart out there to get a feel for how big a kitten (male or female) should be at what month? I got my girl Tiki at about 16 weeks and she was just soooooo much bigger than Parker, the little boy I just got at a little over 12 weeks. I know they were picked up about 4 weeks apart, but aren't boys bigger anyway? I'm confused.....

The weight is something that you must see by the lines from the kitten.
A good normal weight for a Maine Coon kitten is around 1800gr with 13 weeks for a female, and 2200 gr with 13 weeks for a male. But I personally I want a higher weight.Butthere bin many differences to see, its all in the family :winkwink: When the parrents bin small cats than most of the time the kitten is smaller than the standard. But there are always exceptions.
Example, I have a small girl 3.2 kilograms...she get kittens 5 years ago, the biggest male is now 7.5 kilogram...and the 2 females bin around 4,5 kilogram...the male I mated her with whas also not a big guy.
But the parrents of my girl bin big cats...why she is so small I will never know I think .
A other example, my black girl Scarlett..as a breeding cat she whas 5.7 kilograms...she get 6 litters...all here kittens bin big..all litters have a diffrent father.
Male's easy on 8 kilograms or more...the biggest breed from her is now 3,5 year old and 10 kilograms...his sister who also live with me is 6.4 kilograms.
Scarlett as a neuter is now almost 8 kilograms and more neuter girls from her breed bin 8 kilograms or more.
Some lines only give big cats others give a mix off it...and some breeding cats give small kittens .
I hope you understand this, its sometimes a bit difficult for me to explain in english with the good words
