URI are very common. So the meds should help Pouncy to feel better soon. Our guy had a temp of 105 when we got him. The meds cleared him up right away. That was 4 months ago and he's doing great.

Bless him & would have been feeling better even quicker if the other vet had given him something,hope when your vet gets in touch with them they have the decency to give you a part refund as a goodwill gesture,when that sort of thing happens it makes you wary about having to use them again. Glad to hear he's doing better. It is so heart-rending to see them suddenly go poorly.
Glad to hear that he got the proper treatment and that he is getting better.
It sucks to go to a emergency, tell you nothing is wrong or do very little to help and take your money. It really irks me that these supposely 'vets' can do this. I could go on but I won't, it makes my blood boil.
