Is Effy a Maine Coon?

Hi all,

I'm not very clued up on Maine Coons, however I saw a pic of one today and thought that it beared a striking resemblance to my new kitten Effy, and am wondering if she's perhaps a Maine Coon? Or a bit of a one? Or just a very pretty tabby??

I am basing this entirely on a pic, although a bit of research tells me that 'chirping' is common to them? She does that all the time.

So if you could have a look at the pics and give me a rough guess, I'd really appreciate it. If there are any other questions I need to answer in order to establish if she is or not...please let me know and I'll answer!

She certainly has the ears. Although in the newest photo they seem to have shrunk

I gather you did not get your kitten from a breeder, and will therefore have no paperwork.

Whilst Effy has the look of an MC kitten, her ears don't have strong lynx tips. She may be an MC cross. Keep posting photos of her as she grows though as she is very pretty.
