Doesn't work Helen, tried that, even Merlyn who thinks of nothing else but food & tum doesn't appear, its quite funny really because all you see is an ear twitching from behind a chair a tail just peeking out from behind a curtain, another one laying flat on a chair under dining room table, you know what apendage belongs to which animal but the main one not a sign of,crawling around at that hour peering into every dark crevice is no fun but we get him in the end.
Didn't use to be so smart to begin with, left bedroom doors open or flap into outside cat pen but now all they have is sitting room & hall, all other escape routes are cut off but still didn't realise how many hidey holes they could come up with......
BUT how did he do at show, assuming the little *darling* (*insert own words) appeared x
He "Dont b****r me about at this hour of the morning" was found behind television with his brother who being black didn't show up when you have only got part of one eye open,he got his first certificate for next rung up & Best in Variety but got knocked out at the nomination level by a super red silver boy who did go on to get best in show neuter for the category 2, Shimba was a happy enough boy he loves showing to that point hates the BIS bit so it meant he had more time just to show off to everyone & enjoy lots of fuss & tummy tickles from who ever came along,it also let mum relax out & enjoy the super cafe they had on site at the venue.....x
As there are lots of new members I thought I'd get this thread up and running again and would add ...
The Ice Cream is mine; I really don't care if its banana flavour get your paws, whiskers and tail out - your not getting any .... ok I'll share the banana one but you are so not getting the Bailey's one :)
-Anything with ice-cubes "in it" is not yours. You can have the ones on the floor or in your bowl.
-We do not need a taste tester for everything we consume. We truly believe what we are eating is not going to kill us.
-Those plants do not belong to you. They are not for chewing on, eating, or digging out and dragging around the house. They are pretty and meant to be visually enjoyed.
-The door to the outside world is not safe. Please don't dart out there unless you have supervision.
-The boiling liquid is not something to get up close & personal with. No explanation needed.
-Dishes soaking in the sink with soap is not a healthy food choice.
-The pet door works both ways. Once you go in, you "can" get back out. No need to meow and wait for help.
As always, cuddles, hugs, & huge amounts of kisses to every pet.
We really need to cut the lines of communication between our boys especially as I have noticed you are now buying baby bananna brekkie!!!!
One to add on the ice cream theme....Do not give me evil looks when you discover the ice cream is not bananna I happen to like other flavours too
The food in the container on the kitchen counter is the same food that is in your dish on the floor.
I know because that's where I got it from.
The food in your dish on the floor will not taste any better if you eat it on the kitchen counter.
Leaping from the kitchen table onto my shoulders first thing in the morning whilst I'm wiping surfaces will not get you your breakfast any quicker. In fact, if you get much bigger it will probably send me flying.
When I make a nice packed lunch for the Boy, you should not stand on your hind legs and attempt tug the ham sandwich off the kitchen counter. I do have eyes and can see you.
Jumping from the floor on to my shoulder in order to get to your favourite hidey hole is not acceptable, particularly not when I'm on a work teleconference.
:D
