I work with a VN and most of her family have adopted an animal at one time or another.........now she is not working in practice she has got involved with an animal rescue. If I hadn't got my pair by now she would have appeared on my doorstep with something that needed loving!
Through work I have taken many calls asking for diffrent products as the VN calling is taking something home and it needs a non stock item which we get in for them.
One of the reps I see clips rescue animals for her local shelter and god she has nearly had me in tears more than once, she has also had a couple of attempts to get me to home an animal!!!

Big hugs, that's a really brave and difficult decision to have taken. Don't think there's a right or wrong answer either!

I know I've made the right decision. I do not have the time or the money to give her the care that she needs. It has made me really think though and I am looking into another rescue older coonie as a playmate for Buddy.
I used to take in all sorts of animals, bit of a sucker for an animal with a hard luck story. I have a very good excuse for refusing now - my last hard luck story is still here, 12 feet long and still growing, eats furry animals. .... my python lol.
