Bump in the night !
Was reading a post from Donna on another thread and it got me thinking ! Have you ever had any unexplained bumps in the night or maybe you have witnessed some ghostly apparition. Perhaps you have just had the hebbie jeebies at some point ! Incase you think it isnt possible I have to explain that I have had an 'experience'. I was lying in my bed one night, my dog got up of the bed, and I was thinking she wanted out, opened my eyes only to see this young lady teasing the dog with a leather embossed spectacle case ! I can still see what she looked like to this day, and I know I wasnt imagining her because the dog was actually reacting to her.
So if you have had anything happen that is out of the ordinary share ! I would love to hear about it.Chris X

well, a few years back, I woke up in the middle of the night with a start, having dreamt about my Grand Mother, I was saying goodbye to her. I looked at the time, it was 2 AM. The next day I got a phone call from my Mum who told my my Gran, her Mum, had died at 2 AM. .... I was never very close to that Grandma so I just chucked it to coincidence.
Then a few years later, I went to my other Grandmother's house to help her care for my sick Grandfather. Woke up one night, middle of the night, really worried, middle of the night, with "a feeling" - of course, he was very sick so I would be worried - my bedroom was on the top floor, theirs was on the bottom floor - I resisted the urge to go down to their level for a while, didn't want to wake up anyone, but for some reason just HAD to go - though I don't normally do that - middle of the night is for sleeping... but it was like I KNEW I had to go, although I knew it was illogical - and sure enough, my Grandma was up, calling an ambulance because my Grandfather had just passed away. My aunt, his daughter, related the next day that she had woken up screaming for her father around the same time, too...
I don't know, coincidence? twice? I really didn't have any other family passing away, just those 2 - so I don't know...

ChrisX, That is so strange. I think animals are most sensitive to the environment. I think I would have wet the bed at that point! I would love to travel to Scotland and see the country maybe ride our Harley Davidson that would be awesome! The country is so rich in history!
Alekto, you are probably a sensitive and didn't even know it! You should try and learn more about your "gift" Maybe we have a new medium?
I love spooky ghost stories! Thanks for sharing yours with me. The only thing that ever happened to me, was when I was sleeping at a friends house. Her grandfather had passed away there a few years ago. I was sleeping on the couch and the lamp on the television kept poping on! I would get up and turn it off, this happened several times. I finally said "Pa, knock it off I need to get some sleep" The light never came back on. I guess he was just messing with me! Hahaha I love old houses.

Alekto I agree with Donna you must be a sensitive. I think for it to happen twice to you says something. I think we sometimes resist urges and like you find out eventually they were for a reason. Also your aunt waking up at the same time that has to be more than coincidence. I am going to say that you for sure have something going on there, to have such strong feelings of 'knowing' says it all to me.
Thanks for sharing that Alekto I really enjoyed reading that xChris X

Donna if you ever visit Scotland you are more than welcome to stay with Teddy, Dylan and me, my house is your house. It was built in the late 1880's and is a cottage but very welcoming. Anyone who stays says they feel a very welcoming, calm atmosphere, something I am proud of. Plenty room to park the Harley ! lol I love history to an am lucky to live in a country steeped in it, some great places to visit over here that can actually overwhelm you with atmosphere.
I agree animals so quickly pick up on things and if you had asked me before it happened how I would have reacted I would have probably said I would have had a heart attack, but funnily I wasnt scared at all, I was frozen to the spot right enough, but wasnt scared, I think because she wasnt interested in me at all it was the dog. The dog (Uni) passed away around 4 months after that with cancer and I think it eased the pain knowing there was someone on the other side to look after her till i get there !
I take it Pa could take a telling !! lol I guess that would have kept me awake to, lights going on and of. I think they just want us to know sometimes that they are around !
Thanks for posting Donna I love hearing ghost stories to xChris X
