I am a find a penny person but otherwise not too bad on superstitions,won't go under a ladder but only because if they tip the bucket at that point I don't want to have to come home & change & as for Mr Magpie had never heard that one until we started traveling to shows with a friend & all the way there we kept hearing " Good morning Mr Magpie & how is your good wife today"'so asked her what it was all about & she said it was bad luck if your saw a single magpie & didn't ask him about the wife.....perhaps that's why her cats do a lot better than mine had better start the chanting.....!

jckkerrison you are a more practical person then, solid good sense head on those shoulders !!! lol The magpie thing must be a UK thing, and I get so annoyed when I see one to !! its a pity because they are lovely birds albeit thieves !!! lol My luck must be pretty bad, I never find a penny !!! lmao I think you have to pass it on for luck dont you ? My mother was not in the least superstitious nor dad so I dont know where I get my paranoia from !!! lol
