I always thought I was German until I did some research, my dad's folks passed away before I was born so I did not know them. My Mom's folks were German farmers and spoke German on and off. My grandpa taught me words I can not repeat hahaha

Well thats a good one, I like that...........oh and poor grandpa what a shame, it probably stood him in good stead for a new life and starting over ! Yeah I like Grandpa he was gutsy !
