Donna thank goodness that you and your friend were not hurt in this mayhem. You must have gotten a terrible fright even so.
I can only think of one time when I was driving on the motorway, I had Troy (my great dane at the time) in the back and luckily I was only going about 50 miles per hour (speed limit was 70) when my tyre blew out and the car veered of to the right into what I could only see was a lorry coming up the other side of the motorway, however the crash barrier in the middle stopped me going into the path of the lorry. When I eventually stopped all I could think of was, was Troy ok. The police came and an ambulance, but I hate hospitals with a passion and refused to go !! lol The police man took me to a local services where I phoned a friend who came and picked up Troy and myself. That was as near as I ever want to get to the real thing thats for sure !!! lolChris X
