Norman Bates making himself to home

Weather is good so the wife went out and left the door ajar' came in to this,

guess he figures he belongs...or is that we belong to him. Well it is the guest bedroom.

He's still hobbling, think the muscle may be atrophying some. That's to be expected until he gets to using it again. The Vet said it is unlikely he'll ever get full use, former use, of it again. Just walking on it may be the best he has in his future. Didn't stop him from jumping on the bed now did it!

We think Ran-Gan is upset, he refuses to come in the house.

I love that! :-D thanks for the picture, Whyemier! he is definitely a very beautiful cat!
is he still in psycho mode? or has the ... *snip-snip*... done the trick to calm him down?
I think it takes some time anyway for the hormones to drop - unless it's different in males and females - when Neevie got spayed she started getting crazy about one month after the op... and it lasted about 4 months while her body tried to cope! t
hat's to say, I wouldn't be surprised if he started getting calmer and calmer from then on...
Hopefully Ran-Gan will get used to him...

Awww poor Ran-Gan, I hope he gets over it quickly. Is Ran-Gan neutered? I had two cats, siblings. They lived together their entire lives. When one of them would get groomed, the other acted like they have never seen the other before! We would have huge cat fights. Buster and Sheena both slept with me one on each side of my head. I awoke one morning to a cat fight on my face, needless to say they slept on the couch a few nights after that! So, once Ran-Gan gets used to Norman's scent he may come around. When I got Ginger, I would pet her and then the Beagles to cross mingle their scents, it worked pretty fast. So I hope it works it self out quickly. Maybe some extra treats for Ran-Gan =^..^=

Well, all the indications are it will take some time for him to 'calm' completely. Someone said 3 months, don't remember who though.

Aw isnt that just the prettiest picture, and what a compliment to you. All he needs now is a big cuddle, hope he aspires to that soon and hope Ran-Gan becomes more amiable to him x
