Was wondering.............................
What do you all collect ? Oh you are bound to collect something apart from MC's !! lol you know the kind of thing, teapots, watches..........anything, oh and you have to tell us why you collect your given items, how many you have and how long you have been collecting to ?
I collect Teddy Bears, oh I know but I just cannot help myself ! There are big ones and small ones and inbetweeny ones have always collected them but now I just buy Charlie Bears, well its better than having the real thing because we all know how dangerous that could be !!! lol
So come on people whats your weakness !!! lolChris X

Chris,
When my daughter was young she collected beanie babies, so I started collecting attic treasures. Basically they are stuffed cats wearing clothes, they made other animals but I collected the cats! I know it seemed like a good idea at the time, now I have tubs of beanie babies and attic treasures. Someday I hope to pass them off to my grandchildren. My daughter, Nicole has been married one year so maybe next year they will bless us with our first grandchild? I Love them little cats wearing clothes! I am looking for some good books about Scottish history maybe queens , kings etc any ideas?

Bourbon, its a never ending endeavor 'cuz I can't seem to increase the collection over three bottles.
OK, I'll be good, I did collect, and still do if I find something interesting, postal covers & cachets. Different decorative envelopes & postmark cancels of places that interested me. Post cards too, older ones. Don't collect as much as I used to.
Kinda ordinary I guess.
I might collect stringed instruments if the wife didn't complain they take up too much room and gathered dust.

Aw those look really cute Donna ! I hope you arent going to dress Ginger up in clothes !!! lol Oh I do hope that Nicole has good news soon for you, its nice to spoil mum when she is pregnant because its all about spoiling the baby after they arrive !! lol
I have a few books that might interest you, I dont have the names of hand but will look them out tomorrow and send you the names. The best part of the scottish history is before the union of the crowns that is when James the sixth of scotland (March 1603) accended to the thrones of England and Ireland, and the consequential unification of Scotland with both realms under a single monarch.Chris X

Chris, Too bad Miss Ginger is too big for the clothes cause how cute would that be? hahaha I love her to death, I wash her face and ears with a warm wash clothe, when she sees me coming she runs and hides. I also forgot about my coin collection, have not played with it lately Silver dollars mostly, pull them out on rainy days when I am really bored, I also have some of the gold dollars, they look like US quarters so they are a pain.

Oh that would be a picture Ginger dressed up !! lol I love old coins, I used to save them to but gave most of them away to a young lad who was obsessed with collecting them, nothing valuable but some real oldies ! You must have some collection there and pretty valuable considering the price of silver and gold, keep them safe !
