Hahahaha! Ginger the Hoarder! No I don t think Neevie has a stash-cache - ,ost of her stuff ends up under the sofa but if s more that the then to fly there on their own accord and she can t get them back...

Alekto, yes, I find most of her balls under the sofa and the tv set! Better start looking I am sure that pirate of your has a "bootie" somewhere

I too find things filtered away under sofa etc but what never ceases to amaze me is that the brightest mouse you know is missing doesn't appear from any of the hidey holes,under fridge checked,back of TV checked,in cupboards just in case checked...you leave no space unchecked then after a period of a week or two when you have come to the conclusion it must have gone up the vacuum cleaner without you noticing it one of the cats proudly walks down the corridor with it in their mouth, I have come to the conclusion that where ever that place is it also must be where all the odd missing socks are so one day......!!!!!!
I think the loveliest hidey places were those that our Merlyn RIP found,he would luv hiding his mouse either in your shoe or under a pillow,you always knew when he had done it as he would come sit & look at you & as soon as you said oh dear Merl has lost his mouse he would always shift his bottom about & his breathing would change,the closer you got to where he had hid it his breathing became even faster if you diverted away he would do a big sigh,oh bless him the joy on his face when you found it,having said that though there were times when you didn't realise because the chances were it was a mouse he had drowned first & for some reason he didn't tell you just relished the shriek in the morning when you put your foot in a sodden shoe........ would soooo love to have him back to do it again bless him but oh what joy these clever cats can bring,keep you on your toes so to speak even if they do happen to be a bit damp.....!!!!!!
