Oh bless how awful for you both..... I take it you picked him up & done all the "I am sorry" things at the time, now try leaving it as if everything is normal, our furries will make you feel guilty if they can & he sure has you going on one big guilt trip, one of mine used to play on it when he came out of cattery, wouldn't look at me,wouldn't come for his headbutts, wouldn't come down to the bedroom for early morning cuddles & I used to feel guilty as h**l more so as I knew he loved going to the cattery then one time I decided to be hard & ignore the hurt look & he was fine, got the "oh well I tried " didn't work so back to normal straight away.......
Good luck & hope you are soon back on good terms with each other....x
