I have just bought Hugey da bird and he loves it! Are there any other great toys you would recommend?
Hi,
Diego's all time favorite is the Kong Kickeroo, it's great for wrestling with & catnip scented, and he also uses it as a pillow when he gets exhausted of playing :)
Second favorite is a laser pointer to chase across the room / walls. Also amongst preferred toys is a large furry mouse that I got from Pets Corner and the Kong Hugga wubba.
Hope that helps :)
#1 on Whiskey's list are his coil springs. I got him a bag of ten and give him a few at a time as they seem to disappear under things. He has learned they are more fun on hard floors instead of carpet. He will carry them from the carpet to the hard floors. At night he will bring them to the bedroom with him and play with them on the hard floor of our tiny little bathroom. In the morning he will bring it down and play on the hard floors. He will play with one for hours at a time. If one gets under something, he will come and cry at us. Then it's our turn to try and find them and get them unstuck.
#2 is Da Bird. He loves jumping up for this and we love watching him. This will tire him out real fast. We just have to make sure he is safe as a few times he's landed on the side of a table.
#3 is the laser pointer. It is on a key chain. When he hears it rattle on the chain, he will come running and looking all over the place to see if he can spot it.
#4 is his tunnel. He loves stalking you from inside the tunnel. He will wait for you to walk by and come tearing out to grab you and run off.
The catnip, balls, turbo track, etc. are about equal. He'll play with them every now and then.
Bought the thre muscateers three cloth mice a while back
My older MC Floyd carries one around with him from time to time. Its always the same white mouse he ignores the other two completely
.
At 20 weeks the other two play with anything and everything nero even adopted a mushroom for a couple of days taking it everywhere.
I am also sure he tries to hide floyds mouse whenever he can.
They all love the laser pointer and then they each have an individual favourite.
For Arnold, that is Karlie Cat Tree Fun Toys at Karlie Cat Tree Fun Toys at zooplus They didn't last on the tree long. Arnold carries them all round the house and are his favourite thing to play fetch with.
Jock loves his Cosmic Soccer Ball with ribbons coming out of one end. He plays for hours with that. Quite a racket on a hard wood floor. This is his fetch toy.
Lily loves a small, soft silky cube that looks like a parcel. Lily will not entertain the indignity of playing fetch!
As the others have said, ours like laser pointers, but our male has a fascination with my wife's headbands. That's what he likes to play fetch with. Our girl likes to steal freshly washed socks if left out where she can get them. So we just gave her a few pairs of her own, but she still likes to get them off the table if you don't watch her.
 How could I forget socks! If I am drying socks on an airer in the kitchen, you can bet they won't be on the airer long.
Ours don't have a particular toy they like because they have so many of them.
When Tequila plays with a toy, Maya wants that same toy. Go figure. Just like human children.
Tequila likes the empty snack size raisin box. He will wander and bat it around the condo. The other favorites is a rubbery fish (for dental) with a treat in it and the feather teaser. Maya, she will play with anything that Tequila is playing with.
Samantha liked Rattle Mice and the dangley piece of plastic from a gallon milk jug. she'd play Kitty Hockey with them on the kitchen floor until they ended up under the fridge.
When I had to move the fridge I discovered about 50 of them under it.
Louie my white Maine Coon loves the plastic ring from the cap of the milk jug, he hears the snap of the new jug being opened and he's running from where ever he is in the house. We never buy toys, they never play with them. The vet gives us flannel bow ties and the cats play with them for hours. They also play with their food, take a kibble out of the bowl, bat it around then eat it. LOL So funny. Merlin, my red Maine Coon is a real garfield, watches the laser beam go around the room and Louie chasing it. LOL
Sophie adores the 'feathers on a stick' toys - she carries them around, putting them down near her chosen human then squirms on the floor shouting, chirping and talking until someone plays with her. We have about a dozen in various stages of disintegration but condition is not an issue as far as Sophie is concerned.
The senses play circuit is an all time favourite - two or more cats can play at once and frequently do. Also deserving a mention is the latest addition to the toybox - the activity fun board - I never imagined it would be such a hit but they all sit round it carefully manipulating bits of kibble out of it and never seem to tire. Sadly all photos of this are too blurry to post!

Cardboard boxes are a big hit in our house, any size from a shoe box up to however big we can manage. Laser pens are also great fun and tunnels get Oberon's vote every time, he loves them whatever the size.
