LOL! That story make me chuckle, sounded like me and hubby yesterday, Ive been hinting for a couple of months now that I want a real tree. And he cant seem to understand why spend money on a tree that were just going to chuck away, while we have a perfectly good tree in the loft. But obviously, I won the argument and dragged him out yesterday, we both went in and he picked the 6 ft tree then he said he'll wait in the car and give him a shout when Im done paying.

Now, didnt he get a surprise when he went to load it up!!! Haha. I got excited and thought a 'bigger' one would look nice. Got it home after much huffing and puffing, obviously too tall to fit in the living room so he gave me a pair secateurs to trim the top. Im only 5'4 so you can imagine me trying to reach up, getting stabbed by those pines (secretly I think that was his revenge). Anyways managed to cut it down lol, now that its decorated it looks lovely, even he says so. Ill post some pics soon!
