I found that the Bozita tetra packs made my boys runny and stank hugely. Most of the new tins I am trying are much much better. Grau, Smilla, Animonda Carny (?), Smuszy (?) etc. all OK.

I'm just hoping to get him onto a good quality food that doesn't totally reek coming out the other end. lol! With the litter tray being in my liing room I wouldn't like visitors to start being sick when he poos. LOL! Of course it must be the best for my fur baby! I'm thinking steamed chicken etc. too. I would like to aviod runny poos too if possible.

Thanks for all the advice! I have been looking through all the threads and have a good idea of good quality foods, just wondered which one helped keep smell to a minimum.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm not sure if I'll get those big hooded litter trays here but I'll have a look! Peter I'm definitely doing the litter tray cupboard thing, don't have an IKEA here but I'm sure any unit will do. lol

We have a jumbo litter tray from Zooplus for Mufasa, it is very big, hooded, swing door and charcoal filter. It does cut down the smell because when you open the door there's a definite change in air freshness lol! I would think that they deliver to Scotland:

I've been trying Buddy on Encore this week and there's very little smell as it leaves him. Its 75% meat or fish and 25% brown rice. Also choose your litter carefully as some control odour better. Have you given any thought to toilet training so you won't need a litterbox at all.
