Time to swap to wet food i think ,have a box of natures menu here ready to go ,i think i have been kidding myself that dry food is better for her & wet will give her the runs, i never seem to read anything about wet food and poo problems it always seems to be dry food issues ,thanks jckkerrison from advice in an earlier post willow has been on nutrigel for last 4 days & licks a pea size bits off my finger 3/4 times a day ,she is deffinately filling out but has the boniest backside i have ever seen im sure she could cut glass with it & it does seem the Rc is not doing her anygood ,she is very long and leggy with huge paws but is far too lean in my opinion ,but being our first MC was never sure if this was normal for the breed ,her weight going off the weight comparisson chart is slightly under the others altho she has been catching up recently im possitive she should have a lot more meat on her bones ,if i was honest i think 1/2 kg on top & she would still be lean

Anyway time to say good bye to RC & hello to a wet diet ,wish us luck

    Grace&willow(4mths today)

I agree heather i think i will have to experiment a bit & find what suits her best ,it may be a cheaper brand like felix will work fingers crossed i will find something ,the trouble is that the weaning in periods can be long and then may have to start again fresh the week later (sigh) my 4 children are huge thanks to there dad 6' 4" and i never had this much trouble feeding them :P

She will catch up, & get her there in the end,I love the bit about her boney backside, she will have to have a word with my Bruce because he could keep her company you wouldn't need a cats skeleton for biology lessons you can feel & count every bone in his body, can even feel his microchip dead easy because he has no flesh on him to cover it but he is still a super boy with his long lean body perched on long legs, that could be Willows forte but whatever you are doing with her at the moment she is obviously getting nutrition out of it now to be putting on the weight, make haste slowly....xxx
