    homemade cat treats

I was just finishing up a batch of organic dog biscuits, when I thought I wonder if anyone has a recipe for cat treats? My beagles love the cheesy biscuits I make them. I have a dehydrator, maybe I should try and dehydrate some fish for Miss Ginger? If you have any recipes, please feel free to add them.

I dehydrated some chicken and beef livers for the Beagles, Rex loves them but my baby Bentley will have nothing to do with them, he spits them out and I can almost hear him say blech! hahaha they are so funny! I told my hubby maybe we could dry some sardines and he was not down with that hahaha

Chris, I give the Beagles kongs also, I put in peanut butter then I stuff a biscuit in, they spend minutes getting the biscuits out! hahaha they are so fast now!
Alekto, you are a clever girl! Thanks for making me smile

Here is the cheesy biscuit recipe
    1 1/2 Cup oat flour
1 1/2 Cup brown rice flour
    1/2 Cup parmesan
1 Cup low fat cheddar cheese
    1 egg
3/4 Cup water or chicken broth

roll out to 1/8" thick and cut with cookie cutter or knife, bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. I usually let them cool in the oven to ensure that they dry thoroughly. Cool and store in an airtight container, if you have a large dog you can make large biscuits ;)
My dogs love these biscuits and I buy the flour on Amazon. I make the oatflour in my food processor when I run out but I have not figured out how to make rice flour! Oh wells

oh I just had a look on Google (I know that's cheating - sorry)
Joy the Baker – Chewy Cat Treats for Cats this one is fun to read
Cat Treat recipes. this one has LOOOOADs

now Neevie is celebrating in anticipation, and she's running around the house like a crazy elephant having fun in a china shop - "thumpetythump thumpetythump crash! mrrrr! thumpetythump thumpetythump crash! mrrr!" (no ok, I'm exagerating... only the thumpetythump tonight, no crash... yet...)

Alekto, Neevie is a pirate! arrr!!!! Every morning Ginger runs up and down the hall and sounds like a heard of cats instead of one little kitten! Don't you just love them? She is my pride and joy, my little monster kitty =^..^=
