Chris, I give the Beagles kongs also, I put in peanut butter then I stuff a biscuit in, they spend minutes getting the biscuits out! hahaha they are so fast now!
Alekto, you are a clever girl! Thanks for making me smile
Here is the cheesy biscuit recipe
1 1/2 Cup oat flour
1 1/2 Cup brown rice flour
1/2 Cup parmesan
1 Cup low fat cheddar cheese
1 egg
3/4 Cup water or chicken broth
roll out to 1/8" thick and cut with cookie cutter or knife, bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. I usually let them cool in the oven to ensure that they dry thoroughly. Cool and store in an airtight container, if you have a large dog you can make large biscuits ;)
My dogs love these biscuits and I buy the flour on Amazon. I make the oatflour in my food processor when I run out but I have not figured out how to make rice flour! Oh wells

Cat Treat recipes. this one has LOOOOADs
now Neevie is celebrating in anticipation, and she's running around the house like a crazy elephant having fun in a china shop - "thumpetythump thumpetythump crash! mrrrr! thumpetythump thumpetythump crash! mrrr!" (no ok, I'm exagerating... only the thumpetythump tonight, no crash... yet...)

LOL its peanut butter I use for Teddy to, if the hot weather does show its head then I usually put marrow treats in with flavoured water and freeze, it cools him down a bit !!! lol
Thanks for the recipe for the biscuits going to try that one out and see if Teddy appreciates my hard work !! lol Mind you come to think about it, he never appreciates my hard work but will scoff the biscuits for sure, he eats anything !!! lolLast edited by Chris; 21st May 2013 at 11:39 PM.
