We've changed his diet over the past couple of days from a mainly Bozita (wet) and Feline Finest (dry) both of which have very high meat content to RC Kitten 36 (dry) and a little Porta 21 Chicken Breast in gravy and its looking better, though time will tell.

Other than that he's VERY energetic at the moment, his mad half hour was a good 3 hours the other night and playing pawball with paper balls kept him well entertained until the early morning (cat running on wooden floorboards at speed is rather noisy unfortunately) and he's put on a shed load of weight (from 2.9kg to 3.4kg) though im gonna check that again tonight before feeding him incase it was an anomaly.

Anyhoo, I wonder if its just a kitten thing and that they grow out of it, i do hope so as the thought of chasing pooey paws for the next 2 decades fills me with woe

Blimey - he's the same weight at 4+ months that Freyja was when she just turned 6 months!!

And I'm sooo with you on the pooey paw front. Mind you, the rate Schrodinger's growing he'll start getting to heavy to catch, pick up, flip over and wipe down unless there's two of you! I hope they grow out of it, but I can't help thinking that Freyja didn't seem to have the same problem when she was on Whiskas.

Where do you get your Bozita from?
