I would say that after 48hrs with this type of behaviour I would get her checked out,like NCarver says she could be feeling really sore & can feel the stitches pulling,more likely to be the inner ones rather than the outer but she doesn't realise that.Perhaps she is one of the very few that does need an extra pain killer to help her settle.
This is where the method that our vets use really comes into play,because the top layer of sutures are run under the skin & except for a really small tie off knot there is nothing for the animal to pull at so normally except for a quick lick at the op site they can't do any damage....
