Hi im new to his site so forgive me if i am not doing this correct. Im worried about my kitten she has been spayed 2 days ago. And has one of those horrid cone things on her head, she is very unhappy about it and sulking and not eatin very much, i tried to take it off for her to eat but she just started biting her stitches. She is usually a lunatic running about but the 2 days since op she has got quieter and quieter im worried is this normal .
She also has poo'd on the floor the first time ever . I feel very guilty for putting her through this. She has also stoppped drinking .

This is not normal, they are usually very quiet and sleepy but only for a short time, they do not like the collar but they normally get used to it if a bit clumsily, but this does not stop them eating and drinking and using the tray.. To be on the safe side I would take her back to the vets, she maybe needs a little antibiotics.
