Bathing and Dry Skin!
My Nino has very dry skin and oily at the same time! He had to go to the vet awhile back for crystals and I had the vet check his skin as well. She took a skin scraping and checked it for cooties and found nothing. He eats pretty good food, and a very limited amound of crunchies, because of his crystal issue. I did have him clipped last summer and he didn't seem nearly as itchy. It's cold here in the winter so I would rather not get him clipped now. I've never had to bathe any of the other cats so I only have dog shampoo. I have no clue what would be a good shampoo for him and there's soooo many different ones out there. I don't mind bathing him myself, even though he gets a bit grumpy with me..awesome for the groomers and the vet but ya Mom is different..should be an interesting challenge...he weighs close to 20 pounds and has enough fur for 3 cats!!
