One of my boys was semi-short haired (Dicky) but it has grown longer now. I have seen a shorter haired fully grown MC boy at a show too. Cute. Like a shaved lion

But, back to the OPs request - my personal view is:

    1. Do NOT choose either the breeder or the kittens solely on adverts, wherever you saw them and however professional or friendly it appears
    2. Meet breeders (and their cats) at a cat show or through recommendations, like this forum
    3. Plan ahead and meet the prospective kittens *early* (I first met mine at 2 weeks old)
    4. Be prepared to let a litter go past and don't jump in - you will be sharing your life with these complete BEASTS for anything up to 15-20 years
    5. Be prepared to travel to visit them as they grow - I drove from London to Brum about 4 times over the course of 8 weeks
    6. If a breeder is cagey about you visiting, walk away

Good luck and keep us up-to-date. This forum is a great resource - but also try Pet Forums Community - Pet Owners Social Community Forum for Dogs, Cats and other Pets for a wider range of dicsussions about things like food and care - the more information, the better.
