    Sometimes I Miss California

    Sometimes I miss California.

Mountain lion gets stuck in downtown Santa Cruz aqueduct | abc7news.com

The Downtown Puma – 39M : Santa Cruz Pumas

This happened within a block or so from where I used to live.

The back of my yard ended at the maintenance road for that aqueduct.

A 40 pounder is only twice the size of Elvis the Maine Coon...

Wow two brilliant pictures ! Elvis certainly is laying claim to that box !!! lol Glad he isnt stuck like the mountain lion, I think I would be a bit worried with one being so close to my back yard !!! lol Beautiful animals though. Was it alright once they got it out ?

Big outdoor kitten is OK, they darted it and relocated it.

    Story is here:

The Downtown Puma – 39M : Santa Cruz Pumas

That's where the Mountain Lion pic came from...

UCSC campus fence is posted every 50 yards or so with puma warnings. They've been around N Cali since the sabertooths.

I never saw any, just a bobcat, once.

When I worked in Cupertino, a cow-orker saw one get hit by a car on the freeway when they were driving to work.

MC Elvis will try to get in any box, even one half large enough.
