we live in the UK (North of... far far north...) but I am originally from France ... also north...
here are some pretty pictures of Newcastle - the city near which we live - I didn't take the pictures, just found them on internet... and a map to show you where it is in Europe. Chris lives even more North than that! :-)
it's windy here, so yeah lots of stone walls originally to protect the sheep and cattle from the wind and rain and cold....
and some pictures of the town I come from, we get a lot of American visitors there because that's in Normandy and that's where the WWII D-Day happened

Thank you for the pictures and maps, that is awesome! I would love to come there one day and do some ghost hunting ;) . That is interesting about the sheep, who would have thought? I will post some photos of my yard, I don't take too many pictures of my home, but I can! Have an awesome weekend! Now maybe some pictures of Florida and Az? I would love to see some pictures from Scotland

We are still in China and I don't really have anything here on my Ipad but when I get home I'll take a couple pics and post them. The desert is interesting and can be very beautiful in a very different way. I love seeing the photos of all these beautiful green places!

Kim China pix would be great too! My hubby and I spent a week in Chandler last January and we had a great time! Our daughter lives there! My hubby used to live in Tequila Flats, so we pretty much cruised that area. I would love to go back and do more sight seeing though. The only down side to the trip was I got sick after I returned home with Valley fever. So maybe a face mask next time! hahaha Originally Posted by KimAZ

some nice beaches for you to go for a dip in the sea Donna, these are on the west coast of Scotland ! Water is warmer !! lol
