Well I wont need a shower for a week !!!
Sarah and I decided (first mistake) to bath the horses at the weekend ! You know they get all furry during the winter and greasy to so we thought take out the rest of their winter coats and give them a bath ! See that sounded so simple to us to !!! We got the hose out (second mistake) and the shampoo (third mistake) and what did we forget, thats right, to bring a change of clothes with us !!!!! lol Well Logo and Hamish we the two that got a hold of the hose and soaked us, much to their amusement !!! lol Paddy just stood there like he was a king and we were doing his bidding !! lol Jaffa however, decided that perhaps Sarah needed her hair shampooed with horse shampoo ! Oh that was a picture, Sarah is so particular about her hair !!! PMSL Jaffa, not in the good books !! Oh and her being grey it didnt help when she went back into the field that she rolled to her wee hearts content and looked like a bay by the time she stopped !!! lol Never mind, we had a few hacks out and relaxed a little and Brooke had a wee shot on Hamish who is now her pony apparently !!! lol All in all its been a good weekend albeit a wet one !!! lol
So come on guys what are your babies like at bath time !! Do we have the claw marks to prove it !!! lolChris X

Very pleased to say that have not had any problems with bathing especially as Shimba & Ruby need to be done quite reguarly,Shimba even tries to see if he can get water to come out by himself,love how they look like drowned rats.......

Ooooooops don't know why Ruby ended up down there......

JCK, I am very impressed with the pics! how you can bath a cat and photo at the same time is awesome!!!! They look like they are being very good kitties =^..^= I gave Miss Ginger a bath and I had to hold her with one hand and do all the work with the other. That is when I decided she is way to skinny and I need to fatten her up. She looks like a wiener (hot dog)when she is wet! There is no way I could have taken pictures LOL and I was soaked to the skin by the time I got her out.

We haven't tried to bath the boys ourselves yet. We chickened out a couple of months ago and had a cat groomer do it. Now they are one year old and 16 pounds and we are afraid, very afraid! Doubt we would be able to take pictures as I think the bath would require 4 hands!!!
Maybe we just need to have JCK visit us so she can explain to Buzz and Baxter that cats like baths.
