    He Got Claws Mon!

Ran-Gan is getting used to us now, when the 'Psycho' cat's not in house (Yes, we haven't run the 'Psycho' off yet.). The other night he was laying on the bed between the wife and I, wanting his belly rubbed (Hey! I want my belly rubbed sometime but don't get it.). Then he got playful and started fighting my hand. Doesn't know how deadly he is. I've got a couple of small painful (I'm a Wimp I know it) punctures in my fingers and hand. Then after I decided I wasn't playing that no more, he got the wife the same way.

I guess he figured he'd done enough damage 'cuz after that he jumped off the bed. Later he and 'Psycho got-into-it but it was a draw I guess. I don't think 'Psycho' realizes how big and "What sharp teeth/claws you have gran'ma!" One day Ran-Gan may come in to his own and lay one on 'Norman Bates'.

It is so good to hear that Ran-Gan is not cowering! I guess you have to teach them boundary s, say NO, or OUCH really loud to get them to stop biting. Ginger plays a little rougher with me than the hubby, I think she know mom wont scold her too badly. She licks hubby, and nibbles on me The definition of cat, soft cuddly, has claws =^..^= mow

no works though, so that's good...

hey good to know Norman Bates isn't getting away with it - who knows, Ran-Gan might even socialize him!

Was putting down some food yesterday, for all the cats, not being discriminatory like the wife sometimes is. Well they all came running, Ran-Gan and Psycho reached the bowl at the same time. As soon as Psycho put his head in the bowl Ran-Gan smacked him with that big paw of his. Psycho jumped and backed off. Hmmmm? Who's the dominant one among these two.

SideWinder just held back and watched the show, patiently waiting her turn.

Worry about Psycho though, he still walks on three legs.

waw, Ran-Gan is really getting into his role of the-biggest-cat-in-the-house! ;-)
did the vet give you an idea of how long it should take for Psycho's leg to heal?
still, those two should learn some gentlemanly manners - whatever happened to "Ladies first" huh!?

I am glad to hear that Ran-Gan is stepping up to the mark !! lol And Sidewinder sounds like the sensible one, let the guys fight it out and I will take the easy route to the food !!! lol Glad to hear that Psycho is settling in and like Alekto asks, did the vet give you any idea of how long it would take to heal his leg ? Is he on any medication still ?

the Vet said about six weeks and then we would know if it might be permanent. He will never gain full use of the leg again though.
(have to look at my past post and see how long its been.)???

Hmmm? checked that date out, it was about the last week and a half in May. Since June is gone that means this is the sixth week I believe. Doesn't look good for the leg. Have to take him back to the vet to let him check it one more time.
