    Any cat tree recommendations

Tigga towers is brilliant, expensive but well worth the money & is certainly MC friendly as it was designed especially with them in mind,I sometimes cringe when two of mine run full pelt at it,one heads for the middle bed the other one goes for the highest bed & very often just hangs swinging as he didn't quite make it & the tower doesn't move, you can make up your own design as well, and yes mine do make full use of it,it is normally all beds full in the evenings except for the hammock, only one has the knack of getting into that but you don't have to have that as part of the tree...

We have a few from Kalven, I think they also custom build. Very pleased with ours.

I'd have to agree with Jackie - I've got a Tigga Tower, and yes, they can be more expensive than some of the ones you can order through Zooplus etc, but their design and build has been built with input from a lot of MC breeders; Sam herself is a MC breeder. Both my cats love it - plenty of room to sleep, scratch and arse about.

You can buy a standard 'model' but the whole lot is modular, which means you can custom build or extend as and when you need to/ can afford to. My initial model was a Tilly Tower - one 75cm pole with a comfy platform sticking out, topped by a 50cm pole with a round bed. Also used the hammock - Freyja can't get the hang of it, Wicca loves it. When Freyja 'expanded' I increased the size of the tower and it now stands 1.7m tall, with a platform at 1.2 meters and an igloo at the top, and a second pole at 75cm with a bed. I will shortly be updating it again and getting a second platform as Freyja's too big for her and Wicca to share. Especially as Wicca's the cat equivalent of a duvet hog.

Towers are built to last, and I'm sure they have a life expectancy of 10 years (don't quote me on that). The fact they're modular really does mean that you can invest when you can afford to. I'm also not a fan of the towers/trees covered in plush - it's a personal taste thing and I'm just not keen on how it looks - so TT's are perfect - either Beach or Oak wood, wicker, beach or oak beds/platforms, and thick sisal rope.

And Tigga Towers stock THE BEST cat toys; all Freyja's fav's are from there.

I know I sound like a sad advertising agent but I've found with a lot of cat products that it's rare that they live up to your expectations or the pr; my TT amply lives up to both. I've got a couple of cheap scratching posts kicking around the house so the girls can scratch and stretch on each floor and I plan to migrate them all over to TT posts in good time.
