    Master Cat Pawsfourthought

Hi All, while the forum was down last weekend Oscar (Yaheska P-Pawsfourthought) made UK history by becoming the first Polydactyl cat (of any breed) to gain a title with the GCCF! I am so proud of him, and apart from trashing the pen (twice!) and tipping his water all over his head, he was such a good boy last Saturday at the show. I was busy stewarding but did manage to speak to a few people who were asking about him at the pen.

    Next stop - Grands!

(I must also change my signature line - Oscar was 1 yesterday! A baby no more...)

Under "New Traits" with TICA and as Pedigree-Pet (HHP) with the GCCF. The GCCF changed the vetting in rules last June to allow bent ears, wonky tails and funny feet in the Household Pet section. The only thing they don't allow is de-clawing (which is no bad thing) as it is illegal in the UK

Lovely boy - well sone Oscar! Talking of Polys has anyone ever been to the Hemingway house in Key West Florida where most of the 'house cats' are Polydactyl? I too quite like the look of their paws.

Very well done Oscar. You did especially well considering you poured water over your head.
Interesting Fozzie about Hemingway's house and the cats. The house on my one wish list of places to visit, another reason now to realise the ambition!
