I am in a slight dilemma now, hopefully taken the right action.
I have volunteered to take photos at the Semi-Long Hair show in March as my chosen breeder, Heather, is on the committee and also judging in the pets category. I love my photography and this will be a pleasure.
Also, Heather suggested I should consider showing Leo, my red tabby, as he is looking good apparently. After much umming and aahing and worrying about splitting the boys up so soon after they come home I decided to postpose the final decision until after they have been home with me for a week or so.
Advice appreciated in terms of having three boys who have never been seperated and then taking one away to yet another strange environment a month after they come to live with me. Are MC kittens normally adaptable enough for this to not be a problem ? There will be two left at home for the day and Leo would of course be spoilt rotten for the time he is not left in a pen for judging. I expect to have someone else in the car with me to fuss over the kitten in his carrier unless he falls asleep!
I wasn't planning to show but, like others have said, "why not?" especially if the cats are not going to be caused any real stress. But we'll see how they settle in the week I am off - entry forms have to be in by the 21st which is the right timing.
