Thread: Sick Maine coon cat! Help!

So I have a Maine coon cat mix, he is about 7 years old and I got him as a rescue about 6 months old. Everything had been fine until recently. My husband switched his dry food to a cheaper iams brand. Since then he's been losing weight, he was a healthy 16lbs, and his eyes are all weepy. I have since switched him back to his normal food in hopes that he will get better. I have an appointment with his vet tomorrow. But has this happened to anyone else before? Any thing at this point will be helpful
