    Lily

My poor Lily has to go in for another op, it's horrid to know she has to go through it again :(

She was spayed a few weeks ago and since she had stitches removed she has developed a lump which kept getting bigger, anyway they have finally decided they will have to open her up again, so she is going tomorrow.
Knowing how much she hates going in the box, and the lampshade, and the needles,
I am feeling for her tonight, poor thing :(

They think it is a fatty lump come through the inside stitching, or the stitching has come out/off,
they thought it might be fluid before and stuck a needle in to drain it- needle not small and lily jump 2ft in the air when they did it despite husband holding her :(
anyway, she didn't get any fluid out, so they have thought the 'fatty tissue' was now likely,

    nothing too serious

Poor Lily, doesn't it make you feel guilty having to take them back again.I always think it is one of the hardest things to do,take them for an op that is for their benefit but not necessary to save their lives. As a matter of interest was it done on her flank or midline ?
Once again the girls suffer more.....

Poor Lily and poor you! I know what multiple vet trips are like, it's not good. Hope this will be the last time though. Give her a big hug from me and Fudge!

Well she is back all well and good, diving into some tuna right now, and already teasing the other cat.
Lot more awake than she was when she was spayed
Turned out to be hernia of fatty tissue come through stitching, or stitching failed, so they have restitched her.
When the husband dropped her off he phoned and said she was shaking like a leaf when he dropped her off, luckily they gave her a pre op whilst husband was there, so hopefully she won't have been too scared for too long

She was done in the usual place- is that flank?
They gave us option but as we are not going to show her we chose normal way- not clued up on it enough to choose in a split second question to be honest
