Mouths get cut a lot without us realising it,also seems a lot more blood than there actually is the same as us,also heals pretty quickly if it is just a clean wound,no doubt by now if you were really worried you will have popped along to the vet but otherwise keep her food a bit softer for a couple of days to make it easier for her to swallow plus help wound heal quicker....
Guess that some balsa sticks are now going to be put right out of the way.....?
It never ceases to amaze me how these furries can even find things that have been lost to you for months....!

Thanks for all the kinds words and suggestions.
I gave her some meat last night and came down this morning and it was all gone, put down a few biscuits and she seemed to demolish them with no trouble at all, and acting like a maine coon does lol
So checked her mouth but she is a feisty one, but I couldn't see any more blood, so gave her some more biscuits, she has fresh water so will check on her at lunch but I think its ok, but bit scary seeing the blood on the stick and mouth.
But yes she has a fascination for sticks, spoons, keys, anything stick like and she chews them, or runs off with the keys if your not careful.
Will let you know the outcome later

Spoke to the vets and they have told me to keep an eye on her, if she stops eating etc to call them, or change in her eating.
But got home today and she was sat by the door as usual trying to tell me stories as I come in the door, I managed to wrap her in a towel and this time she let me open her mouth and no bleeding, gum was a bit red bit she seemed ok.
