    Possible Coccidia

Hey guys, my poor boy isn't too well at the moment.

My Maine Coon Cross is about 18 months old and has had loose, light brown stools over the last few days that were very foul-smelling. Just before this was happening, his appetite sky-rocketed and abnormal food behavior occured (he'd normally leave -some- wet food, but those few days he has polished it all)

We have just noticed that his last stool contained some red, fresh blood with no obvious signs of worms. I believe it's been around, or more than 3 months since last de-worming. We have checked his stomach for lumps and/or pain and all is fine. Personality wise, he's as normal as he ever was.

I have posted something similar to this to the putney RSPCA animal hospital FB page in hopes they can PM me with some advice. I won't post the picture, but if you want it, feel free to PM.

Just an update - We may have isolated the cause of upset stomach down to the kibble we were using.
