Hyperthyroid Cats
Hi H&SWells,we have lots of hyperthyroid cats go through at work, more than ever now as we look after our animals a lot more so they live longer & it is a problem you tend to see in older cats, obviously don't know how old yours is....!
Once the problem is diagnosed & treated most of them loose all the symptoms & go on to lead a normal life again. We have one vet who always prescribes drugs & another one who prefers to operate, both have their reasons for which way they want to treat but as long as there is no problem with dosing the cat then either way is acceptable to the both of you.
Fingers crossed you soon have a shiny coated, well rounded bodied laid back puss again.
