Thanks both for your responses , should have explained is my Moggie that has it ...still waiting for my MC to be born, not actually even conceived yet! She is good at taking the tablets so long as in cheese! Luckily I work for uni of Bristol vet school so get a discount! Hopefully that will sort her out.

Simba had both his thyrod glands removed early last year 15yrs old & is like a brand new cat even a little chubby now
Just one bit of warning when Simba was on the pills before the op he suddenly went very wobbley on his back legs & kept falling overhe had to have some potassium to & was fine untill he was ready for his op, just incase this happens to your cat as it was very scarey x

really appreciate the warning on that one - shes back for her nex blood test in two weeks and guess Runa will decide then if operates or keeps her on pills. I do know that i wont put her through radio iodine tretament tho.
