Summer eating habits
Mine are mostly wet food eaters but I find that they all eat less at breakfast time when it is hot but do "ask" for more at night when they are put to bed.
Not so good in the morning though, more input at night means that you need a wheelbarrow to muck the trays out .....
I like it better when it is evened out over the course of the day, must not complain though,we have waited a long while for this super weather so will continue with the s*** shoveling before I have breakfast !

They have relented sort of!! I had forgotten about a tin of Applaws that came with the waterfountain filters so as I found it again I thought anythings worth a try! OMG heads down tails up and they cleaned their bowls something they never do normally!
So onto the web I went and ordered them some from Zooplus they have it on offer at the moment.
Hopefully thats the end of the gravy licking

Our three usually get "squish food" at breakfast, they have crunchies during the day and "squish" again in the evening. However, with the hot weather, Whisper looks in her bowl, goes "Meh!" and walks off (no waste though, as Hobbes The Vacuum Cleaner zips in behind her and inhales the lot! I swear it doesn't touch the sides. Spike is off his morning feed too, but deeply appreciates his HiLife Tuna in the evening (doesn't even seem to mind it coming straight out of the fridge either..........tuna popsicles anyone?). Mind you, he has to be quick, or the Feline Hoover will simply pull the bowl out from under his nose and nick the lot! Whisper licked all the gravy off her supper tonight and left the meat (Hobbes was beside himself with joy - to hear him tell it, you'd think he was a starving cat off the streets, hadn't had a square meal in weeks!)
