The vet gave me a lampshade collar for Freyja when she was done and just said that if she doesn't leave the wound alone, stick the lampshade on; if she doesn't worry at it, ditch the collar. Freyja really didn't pay the stitches too much attention at all - just cleaned it when she was grooming everything else, so we never needed the collar. I'll wait and see how Wicca reacts next week.
