He has been strutting around this afternoon with head high, tail at full mast & just looking at the others as if trying to dare them to get in his way,think we will soon have to stop telling him it is his special day or he might just end up with that bigger head I always wished he had.....x

Why did you wait for him for several years? Did you look for special color or his mother had fertility issues?

I know it was stupid but love the mackerels & got it into my head that what I wanted was a male silver mackerel with white,not sure if Kiara had any girls of that pattern but she did have several super silver males with classic pattern but still couldn't be swayed so just had to wait until it happened,I got my red & white boy after a couple of years still waiting & it was nearly another two before hey ho Merlyn decided to answer my prayers.The strange thing is he is the one that I had most problems bonding with,even when I used to go & see him it still didn't seem possible that finally I had my silver babe.
