norwegian forest cat or maine coon
I was curious to know if anyone has ever owned
A norwegian forest cat?they look very similar to
a maine coon. I wonder if they are as sweet as a coonie??

Haven't owned one but meet a lot at the shows & have some come into work & they are super cats as well with mostly nice temperments like the coonies but I know which one I prefer but then I am biased....x

Similar harsh climates produce cats that are remarkably similar, along with the Siberian these 3 breeds each has it's devoted following.
This is a MCC forum so we're not objective, everything I've heard about the NFC is that they're wonderful cats too.

I've heard NFCs are somewhat less laid-back than MCs and more prone to escape attempts, so you have to make your garden very secure. But I don't have experience with NFCs myself. They're quite pretty, though I prefer the more 'uncouth' look of the MC.
