How's Kenny getting on with his new brother?

I'm pleased to say they have settled down really well with each other. Of course, I now have double trouble in the mornings when I'm trying to sort out their food and make tea and toast for the humans, but that's part of the fun of having such beautiful cats int he house. Eric is a funny cat, very affectionate and he actually sits on my lap which Kenny doesn't do, but he absolutely detests being picked up and brushed. Before I even start to comb or brush him he yells out as if I was trying to kill him, which makes it a bit tricky. I have to try and get him when he's sleepy but he soon wakes up and starts off again.
Here's Eric saying hello:

With Eric when he's on your lap you might try just combing the top of his head and his checks, then giving pets and scratches and work your way up.
You need to make it a pleasurable experience for him.
I used to comb Samantha almost every night at bed time but she still didn't like me combing her britches.
