    I agree if you can get him to the vet to check if he has been chipped. He may have owners out there going frantic with worry and if he looks like a good looking cat he may well have been paid for and microchipped.

    Just had a look at the missing cat advert on Animal search uk again, it says that the cat is 7 months old, do you think this one is older ? unfortunately there is no picture. It has been missing since mid feb also ?

    Difficult to say. Can you ask the people to post a picture? It is possible he has been missing that long - he could have been getting the odd meal from people like you who feel sorry for him or even catching the odd mouse if he is a good hunter. There has certainly been no shortage of water recently!

    Have had an email back from the owners of the missing cat and unfortunately their cat was an RTA. Will just have to wait and see now if I get any more responses and if he is around tomorrow will take him up the vets to check if he is chipped.

    You could put an advert in your local paper most dont charge for found, he does look MCish hopefully he has a chip & someone is looking for him.
